This year at re:Inforce, we are offering three sessions of the AWS Certification Exam Readiness: Security – Specialty course. AWS Certification Exam Readiness bootcamps are open to all customers and partners preparing to take the AWS Certified Security – Specialty exam. The bootcamp reviews the exam structure and helps you interpret the concepts being tested so you can better eliminate incorrect responses.
Note: This course does not guarantee a passing exam grade. We recommend some prior knowledge and experience with AWS.
To register for an AWS Certification Exam Readiness: Security – Specialty bootcamp, you must first register for re:Inforce. In addition to the cost of the re:Inforce conference pass, the bootcamp costs $225.
This bootcamp requires you to bring your own device to complete course exercises. Your device must meet the following requirements:
A notebook computer with 5GHz capable Wi-Fi (devices with only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi will not be able to connect)
Administrator access to the computer (if Windows)
Chrome or Firefox
Excel and PDF viewer installed
Note: You will not be able to complete this bootcamp using only an iPad or Android tablet. While you may use one for documentation, please ensure you arrive with a computer running a desktop operating system.

The AWS Certified Security – Specialty exam validates technical skills and experience in securing and hardening workloads and architectures on the AWS platform. This half-day, advanced-level course is intended for individuals with 1) two or more years of hands-on experience securing AWS workloads; and 2) a minimum of five years of IT security experience, designing and implementing security solutions. In this course, you will explore the exam’s topic areas, mapping to security on AWS and identifying specific areas to study. The course reviews sample exam questions in each topic area and teaches you how to interpret the concepts being tested so that you can more easily eliminate incorrect responses.
